How to Find the Right Replacement Hot Tub Cover Size

Finding the right replacement hot tub cover doesn't have to be complicated. At Keystone Spa Covers, you can find your cover dimensions using your spa's manufacturer and model, or measure your hot tub manually if you're unsure of its specifications.

Option 1: Find Your Cover by Brand and Model

The easiest way to find your replacement hot tub cover is to use our online custom cover configurator.

Select your hot tub manufacturer from the Choose Brand Name dropdown.
Select your specific spa model from the Choose Model dropdown.
Our configurator automatically fills in the recommended cover shape, length, width, and corner radius when specifications are available.
Verify the populated dimensions against your hot tub before proceeding with your order.

Example: Selecting Cal Spas → Avalon A744L automatically populates a rounded-square cover measuring 84" × 84" with an 8" corner radius.

Specifications can vary by model and year. Always verify the measurements before ordering.

Option 2: Measure Your Hot Tub Manually

If your manufacturer or model isn't listed, you can determine the dimensions yourself.

Length and Width

Measure the outside dimensions of the acrylic spa shell at its widest points. Use the dimensions required for your spa rather than automatically adding extra inches.

Corner Radius

For rounded-square or rectangular spas, determine the corner radius by measuring from the imaginary square corner to where the rounded edge begins.

Hinge and Fold Direction

When ordering your replacement cover, Dimension A is always the dimension divided in half. The center hinge runs parallel to Dimension B.

For example, if Dimension A is 84 inches, the cover will consist of two approximately 42-inch-wide panels. Make sure the A/B orientation matches how your existing cover folds, especially if you use a cover lifter.

Skirt Length

Measure how far the cover's skirt should extend below the spa's upper rim. The skirt should fit without bunching against the cabinet.

Straps

Check the required strap length and placement, particularly if your existing spa uses specific attachment positions.

Double-Check Your Measurements
